What I've read and what inspires me
Atonement was one of those 'wow!' Books for me. But Cold mountain was a dnf. Good luck. PS. Narnia is always a good choice, esp the first few books in the series.
I have heard many mixed feelings about Cold Mountain. Glad to hear you enjoyed Narnia! Thanks for stopping by!
The Chronicles of Narnia are so good! I hope you enjoy them when you get around to reading them. :)My #Shame TTTHappy Reading! :)
Glad to hear you loved them! Thanks for stopping by!
The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender is such a unique, strange book! I hope you get to these soon.
I really need to pick it up because I love magical realism! Thanks for stopping by!
Memoirs of a Geisha should have been on my list too but I wanted to keep it at 10.See my list here https://runwright.net/2016/08/23/11364/

Alright Bob Dylan ;D Love him. I recall the first-half of Chronicles being good, then he gets a little vague later on, but I'd say he has the right to keep some stuff private and remain mysterious.Cold Mountain, Memoirs of a Geisha, and Juliet Immortal are also on my TBR. Here's to getting to them, someday!
I love Dylan too! I think he's so interesting on top of talented. Hope you get to them soon! Thanks for stopping by!
Cold Mountain was on my TBR pile for years, before I finally admitted that I wasn't going to read it. I don't know why, I loved the movie, but every time I went to pick up the book, I just couldn't do it. The past year I've really culled my physical TBR (which is still huge), but I've only kept books I'm almost 95% sure I want to read... but now I kind of want to re-add Cold Mountain! lol
I haven't seen the movie yet actually so I don't know much about the plot. I always go back-and-forth on TBR books too! Thanks for stopping by!
I haven't read Memoirs yet either! Cold Mountain is a favorite. And Emma Brown looks enchanting. Great list! :)
Glad to hear love for Cold Mountain! Thanks for stopping by!
If I had to pick my favorite from your list, I would definitely go with Memoirs of a Geisha. It caused quite a stir when it came out, and I think that's what makes the story so intriguing.http://decoratethesoul.blogspot.com/
Oh glad to hear you enjoyed it! I haven't seen the film yet so I'm really hoping to enjoy the book. Thanks for stopping by!
