Weekly Wrap-Up: Hello October!

What's New:
It's officially fall people! The weather has cooled down by about thirty degrees in a matter of days, but it has been beautiful out this week. I'm excited to get into some fall reading and the holiday season. Other than that, there's not a whole lot of newness.

What I Read:
I finally found some reading time this week and was able to finish Rose Under Fire by Elizabeth Wein. I'm hoping to find some time to finish my Sense and Sensibility audio book this weekend as well. It's been pretty slow on the reading front lately because of school, but I'm hoping it will pick up soon.

What I Bought:
In the Shadow of Blackbirds by Cat Winters

Louis Lane: Fall Out by Gwenda Bond

What I Posted:
Monday: I reviewed Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng
Tuesday: was TTT where I suggested some classics reads based on some Popular Reads
Wednesday: I celebrated Banned Books Week!
Friday: I welcomed October by talking about The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

  2. It's Spring here in Australia and I've been getting publishers' December and January catalogues. I think I assumed there'd be a stack of great releases coming out for Christmas but it hasn't been the case so far which is a bit depressing.

Keen to hear what Rose Under Fire was like as I think I commented on the cover last week.

  3. We cooled way off too, it got cold at night and it feels a lot different, funny the difference a week makes!

Sense and Sensibility would be good by audio I would think.

In Northern Ireland where I live the weather went a bit crazy this week. I still haven't read Sense and sensibility it's a book I have wanted to read for years. Have a great week.

    1. Both Code Name Verity and Rose Under Fire are excellent audiobooks. I have been "pushing" them on my friends for at least a year. :) The latest one by Wein is not that great. I had a really hard time connecting with it.

      Here's my review:

  10. I can't decide if I want to read Rose Under Fire. I liked Code Name Verity for the most part, just didn't thrill me. And I've still got to pick up my Lois Lane book and read it! Hope you have a great week!
