Stacking the Shelves: Book Outlet

I made a bookoultet.com order recently, and I am borrowing a book from my brother so I thought I would share them with you. I have really been enjoying browsing bookoutlet lately, and they have some great deals on all kinds of books. Beware, it's a dangerous place for book lovers!
Stacking the Shelves: Tyngas Reviews

Tess of the D'urbervilles, Thomas Hardy I have been wanting to read this for a very long time, and finally picked up a copy. This edition goes with the Masterpiece mini-series that was recently made for this book which I have heard is quite good. I think this book looks great for being a mini-series cover, and I know I lot of people really love this book.
Naomi and Ely's No Kiss list, Rachel Cohn and David Levithan I really enjoy Levithan's works, and I am eager to read his works with Rachel Cohn because I hear they are quite the team. I'm also eager to pick up a copy of Nick and Norah as well.
The Girl Who Fell Beneath Fairyland and led the Revels There, Catherynne M. Valente This is the second in the Fairyland series, I own but have not read the first in this middle grade series, but I'm confident I will enjoy them.
Saints, Gene Luen Yang One half of a graphic novel dualogy about the Boxer's Rebellion in China. This one is from the perspective of a Saint.
Boxers, Gene Luen Yang The other half of the graphic novel dualogy, this one from the perspective of a Boxer. I was very excited to see these on bookoulet! I hear they are really great and they are beautiful books. I have not read any of Yang's works yet, but I know his first graphic novel American Born Chinese won a Printz award.
Grasshopper Junge, Andrew Smith This I borrowed from my brother. I read Winger by Andrew Smith recently and really enjoyed it, and I am eager to check out Smith's other works. I hear this one is kind of weird and that excites me.
Frankenstein, retold by Gris Grimly This is a gorgeous graphic novel retelling, I have not read the original work yet, but I don't think reading this beautiful book will ruin the original for me.

I'm taking a break from book buying for now. This haul along with my used books haul has largely increased my to be read pile. What have you bought recently? Have you read any of these books?

  5. I'm pretty new to book outlet, this is only my second order. I wish it was an easier website to shop on (it's lacking in the organizational category), but you can't beat the prices.
