Stacking the Shelves: Fun Reads

This week's haul is full of young adult and middle grades reads. I've been drawn to quick fun reads when it comes to book shopping, but dense classics when it comes to what I'm actually reading. Your guess is as good as mine as to why that's happening. Let me know if you've read any of these and what you've bought this week.

  1. Rose Under Fire BROKE me. But it is one of my favorite books of all time. I would read A Little Something Different right after since it's supposed to be an adorable book and will remind you how to love and smile again haha.

  2. Everybody's raving about their reluctance to let go of Percy and his merry band... while I'm about to meet Percy Jackson just yet.

    Nice collection this week. Enjoy!

*Maybe because quick fun reads are FUN :) *

    1. Oh! That's so exciting that you haven't ventured on the Percy Jackson journey yet! Both series with Percy in them are just so fun and have so much humor and adventure in them.

  3. Great haul this week. I've been seeing amazing reviews for Belzhar, it's made me very eager to read that book. More Than This is one I really want to read as well. I hope you enjoy your reads this week :) Here's my STS.

  5. Rose Under Fire is something I've heard from time to time. I want to read it. It's the one written by the same author as the one who write Code Name Verity, right? I can't remember.

Please check out my haul (and leave a comment?), here!

  6. The only one I've read is More Than This, but it was good! I really want to read Belzhar (though I have read VERY mixed reviews) and since I got them this week too, A Little Something Different and The Coldest Girl in Coldtown! Oh, and I must confess, I despise Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. But I think I am just about the only person on earth who does ;) Hope you have a great week!

    1. Really? I'm surprised to hear about Charlie, though I think it is a lot weirder than the movie.
I'm hoping Belzhar is good, I really love Plath though so I'm a little nervous. The Coldest Girl in Coldtown is a perfect book to pick up this month!
      thanks for stopping by!

  7. The Coldest Girl in Coldtown, I only read like the first 50 pages and left it, haven't gone back to it yet. I kind of forgot about it, haha, oops. ;) Happy reading!
