My library had a book sale the other weekend where they were just taking donations for the books. My mom and I left with two paper bags full of books, that we donated ten dollars for. We got lots of great shape paper backs and hardcovers, so here's what I picked up.

Yey for library book sale! :) You've got interesting titles there. I'm especially intrigued by The Poison Eaters.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking about reading The Poison Eaters this month, as October sounds like the perfect time to read it!

Awesome selection this week, Mallory! Both the Blind Assassin and The Poison Eaters look really good! And what a bargain you got, too!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend.

Library sales are SO the best!! I absolutely love them...especially when I get good finds. ;) I got two excellent condition Harry Potter hardbacks last time I went to one, which caused great flailing for sure. x)

ReplyDeleteMy library isn't all that good unfortunately, and they've shut it down anyway. Been wanting to read The Poison Eaters for ages, heard a ton of good things about Holly Black's work. :)

sorry to hear about your library, maybe you can find another one that is kind of close to you?
DeletePoison Eaters really interests me as well, I have't read any Holly Black yet either!
