Yes to the Tarot card reading! That series definitely made me fascinated with Tarot though I haven't pursued learning more...
ReplyDeleteI loved the magic/ psychic element in that series!

Tarot card reading could be interesting - I'd probably just be happy enough looking at the cards though... :)
ReplyDeleteCheck out my TTT.
Yes, they are beautiful. I love the designs that Maggie drew herself too.

I have some very weird tarot cards. My sister bought me a set of vampire tarot cards with some of the silliest pictures on them :P
ReplyDeleteI love books which make me want to travel and I think I'll have to track down a copy of that Gayle Forman book!
AH! That sounds so cute! Just One Day is a great travel story.

DeleteGreat list! Frankenstein was a fun, but dark read! Way ahead of its time, Shelley = genius.
ReplyDeleteYes!! She was only 19 when she started to write Frankenstein, amazing.

Oh my goodness, Just One Day definitely inspired my wanderlust. *sigh* I try to remember that I'm still young and I have the rest of my life to travel, but I want to go backpacking through Europe SO BADLY.
ReplyDeleteTarot cards are so cool! Have you actually learned how to read them yet? Because that's awesome.
My TTT! :)
That would be an amazing experience!
DeleteI have learned a few of the cards, but not well enough to preform full reading yet, still working on it!
Thanks for stopping by!
I never learned any kind of art, but would have LOVED to take art lessons (drawing, painting). As it happens I can't even draw a stick figure worth anything. ;) Yay for travel too - who wouldn't want to experience that!?
ReplyDeleteGreat list, Mallory - and thanks for visiting Finding Wonderland.
Yes, my art skills are nonexistent, but I still find it satisfying to express myself through creative arts.

So many books have made me want to hop on a plane and see the world. Traveling is definitely high on my priority list at the moment and books have a large role to play in that decision haha.

Books are a great way to travel on a budget! That's part of their magic.

Oh damn, I can't believe I didn't include The Raven Boys and how they made me want to be able to read tarot cards too! In the Shadow of Blackbirds is one of my favorite novels, so I'm really happy to see it on your list! :D
ReplyDeleteLoved both those novels!

Such a fun list! Frankenstein is on my TBR--and I can totally see it inspiring me to get a PhD too. I have a masters degree and it would be cool to go back one day! Thanks for stopping by my TTT earlier :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to get my PhD and become a professor one day!
