I am very behind in the world of hyped Young Adult books. I own all of these books in some format so I really have no excuse for not having read them! Tell me which ones I should get to right away.

I just got the Wrath and the Dawn in my mailbox today. It sounds amazing. I hope you do read the Raven Boys! Wowie-Zowie that whole series is great.
ReplyDeleteI have heard so much love for The Raven Boys! I need to get to it this summer!
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
Ive recently read The Raven Boys, I also wasn't sure I'd like it, but it became one of my favorite series ever. It starts off a little slow, but once things really pick up, it just keeps getting better and better. :)
DeleteOh glad to hear you enjoyed it!
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
Fangirl is definitely one of my favorite books and I hope you enjoy reading it! Definitely check out Carry On afterwards :D.
ReplyDeleteI will have to get to it someday!
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
The kiss of Deception and The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer were a couple of my favorites. Tho Mara Dyer is mixed between people either loving or hating it. Most people seem to love the Selection series. I only thought it was just meh.
ReplyDeleteCinder was good. I thought the rest of the books in the series so far have been better, but that's just me. I haven't read Code Name Verity or Fangirl either.

I hope to get to The Kiss soon since the sequel is coming out soon! I'm on the fence about The Selection series, and I might just skip it.

This is a great list. So many are ones I hope to read someday. Cinder, definitely. Daughter of Smoke and Bone, Code Name Verity, and anything by Maggie Stiefvater for sure. I haven't read any from your list. Hopefully the hype for all of them is worth it!
ReplyDeleteI have heard Maggie Stiefvater is a great writer; I haven't read her yet either.

1, 2, 3, 5, and 10 are all worth checking into. :)
ReplyDeleteCheck out my TTT and my current giveaway.

DeleteI want to read quite a few books on your list. I particularly want to read The Wrath and The Dawn. I absolutely adored The Kiss of Deception and highly recommend it! My TTT!
ReplyDeleteOh! I'm excited to get to it!
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
I highly recommend Raven Boys (and the next titles in this series) and Code Name Verity is incredible. Hard, but incredible.
ReplyDeleteI read the first pages of Code Name a while ago and it had already jumped into the emotion. I can see why so many people describe it as heart breaking.

Great list, Mallory! I haven't read The Raven Boys, Code Name Verity or Fangirl yet, but I want to cross them off my list soon! Also I highly recommend The Lunar Chronicles - it's a brilliant series. :)
ReplyDeleteActually Cinder is the only book on your list I have read, which just shows how behind the times I am!
I'm always behind too Jess! I know you love the Lunar Chronicles, but I feel like I'm already so behind with that series- I might wait until the last book is released before starting the series.

The only one of these I've read is Fangirl and I, frankly, thought it was RR's weakest effort. Just my two cents.
ReplyDeleteHere's my TTT post!
Really? That's the first time I have heard that from someone. What is your favorite Rowell?
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
Raven Cycle is definitely one of my favorite series ever. It has slow parts but they don't make the novels any less good. The Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy is so unique and amazing. I loved how complex and real the characters were. The Selection is one of my favorite series ever, that is if we don't count The Heir because that novel was horrible. I know many people hate on this series but I think it's worth giving it a chance. The Lunar Chronicles is on the same level of awesomeness as Raven Cycle. Seriously, read these two series ASAP! I wasn't a fan of Fangirl and Mara Dyer but I hope you'll like all these books. :)

Ah! So many books to read! Glad to hear you love all those books, now I just need to get to them!
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
Yes to all of these though I still haven't read Raven Boys! I'm really looking forward to starting The Lunar Chronicles. I've heard fantastic things about the series. Great list!
ReplyDeleteEveryone loves both of those series!
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
Omigoodness but I rather adore quite a few on this list. Lunar Chronicles, The Raven Boys, Fangirl and Code Name Verity. I'd recommend all of those. Much of the rest of these books are on my TBR pile.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT List doesn't overlap yours at all, but we have similar taste in books, I think. :)
Glad to hear you loved those! I want to get Raven Boys and Code Name read this summer.
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
Kiss of deception and Lunar Chronicles are great.
ReplyDeleteThe rest I'm dying to read as well.
Thanks for sharing!
Here's my TTT
My $30 giveaway ends soon so check it out.
Glad to hear you loved them!

Lots of good ones on that list, the only one I've read is Fangirl, and i did like it. Her roommate Regan was probably my favorite character!
ReplyDeleteI've heard so many good things about that book! Hopefully I will get to it someday!
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
I haven't heard or read about Raven Boys, and judging from these comments, I am missing out big time. Read The Selection series now now now :) I loved Fangirl and currently reading The Wrath and The Dawn.

Oh! How is The Wrath and the Dawn going? I hope you enjoy it!

I read the unbecoming of mara dyer, and although I don't remember to much I know that I didn't hate it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
DeleteI also have The Selection growing old on my eReader. I bought it for the beautiful cover, but since have hear mixed reviews, so I keep putting it off. I've read The Lunar Chronicles, though, and they're really good.
ReplyDeleteI bought The Selection while it was supper cheap on my ereader ages ago too! Maybe I will pick it up someday.
