I read quite a few new-to-me authors this year and really enjoyed their works. In fact, quite a few of these authors made it on to my auto-buy list and I read multiple books by them this year.

4. Elizabeth Wein 
I read and loved Code Name Verity and Rose Under Fire.

5. Celeste Ng
I read and loved Everything I've Never Told You.

7. Willow Wilson 
I've read and loved Ms. Marvel vol 1, vol 2, and vol 3.

8. Becky Albertalli 
I read and loved Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda.

9. Cat Winters 
I read and loved The Cure for Dreaming and In the Shadows of Blackbirds.

10. E.M. Forster
I read and loved Howards End.
