Going Bovine by Libba Bray Printz Award winner, with a weird synopsis. I think this one is going to be rather touching and rather odd.
Unnatural Creatures Stories Selected by Neil Gaiman Just to clarify, Gaiman only wrote one story in this collection, but he collected all of them together for this book. Each story about an unnatural creature is accompanied by a beautiful illustration. Looking forward to reading this one in the fall.
Brave New World by Aldous Huxley Classic Dystopian/Utopian novel I have heard lots of good things about.
The House of Mirth by Edith Wharton I loved Ethan Frome by Wharton and I am eager to read some of her longer works. This one sounds like it has a powerful female protagonist which is always great to see in books, especially classics.
Nook Update
How to be a Woman by Caitlin Moran I have heard lots of positive things about Moran from UK readers, so when this book was in the $2.99 or under section on Barnes and Noble I picked it up.
The Selection by Kiera Cass I finally caved and bought this one for $2.99 on my nook. I heard that Kiera Cass has been signed to write two more books and at least one more novella for the series, so it must be enjoyable!

Ohh, used bookstores are such a great idea, I wish I had one locally. (Though my bank account might not be!) I caved and bought The Selection a few weeks ago too (also on sale!) so hopefully we will both enjoy it! Happy reading :)

i bought the entire the selection series a couple of months (because i'm a book buying addict) ago after watching a bunch of reviews of it on youtube where all the reviewers were raving about the books. i read the selection and it was... okay. in my opinion, it didn't live up to the hype. i don't regret buying all the books in the series because the covers are so darn pretty and i may even read book 2 in the future.

Yeah...I'm still kind of avoiding The Selection series, just reviews have put me off them...hope you enjoy it though! :)

It is a very hyped series, I probably never would have bought it if it wasn't always so cheap on my nook! I'm thinking it will be an enjoyable read to break up my heavy semester reading though.

I liked The Selection a lot! I haven't read the rest yet, but I'm definitely meaning to...and I think it's awesome that the author's been signed for more books. WOOT! I love trilogies, but I always think it's cool when a series extends beyond that. :))
