Top Ten Tuesday: (Seven) Book Wishes I Have

I struggled to come up with book habits I wanted to kick this week, as I am pretty content with the way I read and my reading habits. So, I decided to make a list of bookish wishes I have and hope that one day will come true. All I need is a book Fairy Godmother.
Hosted by: The Broke and the Bookish

1. One day I will own a reasonable amount of unread books.
This is the wish least likely to come true. I don't have enough self-control for this one.

2. One day I will have all my books together on one huge shelf.
I hate that my books are divided between my parents house and my apartment, and then divided again among many small shelves. Someday I will have a beautiful custom made bookshelf that fits all of my books beautifully. Hey, a girl can dream right?

3. One day I will own multiple gorgeous editions of all my favorite classics.
Already on my way to this one!

4. One day I will have read the books that have sat unread on my shelf for three (plus) years.
Maybe someday, sigh.

5. One day I will have a beautiful organization system for my books.
Everything will have a place and it will look perfect! That's totally achievable right?

6. One day I will remember what happened in the previous book before diving into the sequel.
It would be a miracle if this happened. I need to start writing summaries or something, but who has time for that? Let's just release the whole series at the same time please publishers.

7. One day I will put together my own anthology of all my favorite poems.
This is a project I would love to do. I would love to print out my favorite poems and slap them into a homemade book that I can keep adding to. This way all of my favorite poems would be in one spot whenever I needed them. This might be my project for next summer. My wheels are turning now!

What did you do for this week's post? What's your biggest book wish? Leave me your link down below and I will pop over!

    1. I have a journal with a list of all my favorite poems, but I really want to work on getting them into an anthology!

  3. I don't know if your #1 is possible, but I think it would have to be on my list too. I feel you on #6. That happens to me, especially when it's years between series books (not necessarily because the author is a slow writer, but because I'm a slow reader).

I hope you are able to put together your own anthology of your favorite poems. That would be so fun!

    1. I can't remember what happened in the first book when it's only been a month between books sometimes! 1 is the ultimate wish for booklovers.

  4. I had to laugh about not remembering what happened in the first book before launching into the sequel. That always happens to me.

  7. I definitely wish I could remember what happens in book series before starting sequels! And I'm not really sure if I'll ever get around to all of the unread books on my shelves, it'll probably take a whole life time.
